Walking in public gained new meaning with the pandemic. An ancient and everyday ritual became an integral part of the new normality. People meet, walk, stroll through districts, play in landscapes, and perceive their environment anew with every stride.
In the context of entering the fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which implies new restrictions and new challenges for the theatre world, on October 1st will take place the launching of the Romanian version of ððð ððŒððð â an experimental performance created by the famous theatre label Rimini Protokoll in Berlin, in co-production with creart / Teatrelli and in partnership with Goethe-Institut Bucharest.

The script and direction of ððð ððŒððð are signed by Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi, and Daniel Wetzel, the three directors who founded in 2000 the famous Rimini Protokoll theater label, awarded, among others, with the Faust Theatre Prize, the European Award âNew Realities in Theatreâ or the Silver Lion at the Venice Biennale for performing arts.

The dialogue will concentrate on the experimental production ððð ððŒððð, but also on the future of theatre, which is â probably more than ever â challenged to find new hybrid and digital formats, to experiment and innovate, in order to survive.

OdatÄ cu pandemia, mersul pe jos în spaÈiul public a cÄpÄtat un nou sens. Un ritual strÄvechi Èi cotidian a devenit o componentÄ de bazÄ a noii normalitÄÈi: oamenii se întâlnesc, se plimbÄ, umblÄ prin cartiere, se joacÄ Ã®n naturÄ Èi îÈi redescoperÄ vecinÄtÄÈile cu fiecare plimbare.
Ãn contextul în care am intrat în valul patru al pandemiei de COVID-19, care presupune noi restricÈii Èi noi provocÄri pentru scena teatralÄ, pe 1 octombrie va avea loc lansarea versiunii în limba românÄ a aplicaÈiei ððð ððŒððð, spectacol-experiment realizat de celebra companie Rimini Protokoll din Berlin, în co-producÈie cu creart/Teatrelli Èi în parteneriat cu Goethe-Institut BucureÈti.

Textul Èi regia producÈiei ððð ððŒððð sunt semnate de Helgard Haug, Stefan Kaegi Èi Daniel Wetzel, cei trei regizori care au fondat în anul 2000 celebrul colectiv de teatru Rimini Protokoll din Berlin, distins, printre altele, cu Premiul European de Teatru â Premio Europa â la categoria Noi RealitÄÈi în Teatru sau Leul de Argint la cea de-a 41-a BienalÄ de Teatru de la VeneÈia.
