The Film Garden – Cinema & More is a CREART initiative, designed to bring art films, live performances, and cultural events to life, under the stars. Since its debut on the 15th of May , 2015, the Garden has become a beloved cultural oasis in the heart of Bucharest, blending the magic of cinema with the energy of live concerts and cultural performances.
Throughout the summer, our guests are invited to enjoy a diverse program featuring film screenings, live music, and lots of relaxing moments. Film nights include high-quality screenings often introduced by professionals from the film industry, followed by interactive Q&A sessions, while live music concerts provide a vibrant weekend escape in a charming open-air setting.
Nestled at No. 7 Alexandru Lahovari Square, right in the city center, the Garden offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by color and culture. Technically, The Film Garden – Cinema & More is equipped with a cinema-grade screen, a high-quality projector, and an optimized sound system to ensure an exceptional viewing and listening experience.
This summer, CREART proudly reopens The Film Garden – Cinema & More, between May 28th and September 28th, 2025, film and music come together under the open sky, right in the heart of Bucharest.
The program features Romanian Film Evenings, international films, and curated selections in partnership with prestigious film festivals across Romania.
Come and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, escape the everyday routine, and reconnect with art in this unique cultural space — starting May 28th at The Film Garden – Cinema & More.

The Film Garden – Cinema & More, launched in 2014 through CREART, is one of the Municipality’s flagship cultural venues. Alongside Teatrelli and the CREART Gallery, it forms part of a dynamic cultural hub located at the very heart of Bucharest.
