Show-uri de video mapping și concert SUBCARPAȚI la iMapp Bucharest 2021
Cel mai mare eveniment de new media art din România și în top 3 concursuri de video mapping la nivel internațional, IMAPP BUCHAREST – WINNERS LEAGUE, organizat de Primăria Municipiului București, prin CREART, cu sprijinul Camerei Deputaților, are loc sâmbătă, 18 septembrie 2021, în Piața Constituției. Intrarea este liberă, iar accesul se face începând cu ora 17:00.
Lucrările artistice ale echipelor participante vor fi redate pe cea mai mare suprafață de proiecție din lume – fațada Palatului Parlamentului de 23.000 mp, iar zeci de mii de inimi vor vibra la unison într-o seară electrizantă, la intersecția dintre tehnologie și muzică!
A VII-a ediție a evenimentului iMapp Bucharest, câștigător al categoriei „AV IN ACTION” la Premiile AV AWARDS din Londra 2020, celebrează modul în care oamenii își reiau treptat viața, tema concursului de video mapping – ”THE SHOW MUST GO ON” – prezentând domenii de impact în societatea contemporană (arta, muzica, sportul, educația și turismul), care au capacitatea de a se reinventa și de a asigura efervescența și dinamismul unei vieți care ne-a lipsit tuturor atât de mult.
Printr-un parteneriat cu cinci dintre cele mai importante festivaluri internaționale de video mapping din lume, iMapp Bucharest va reuni, în Capitală, cei mai buni artiști de video mapping, câștigători ai evenimentelor partenere, care vor reinterpreta fațada Palatului Parlamentului prin lucrări artistice care utilizează lumina, tehnologia și muzica pentru a reda viziunea proprie asupra temei: Borealis – a festival of light (S.U.A.) – câștigător FLIGHTGRAF, Genius Loci Weimar (Germania) – câștigător JONAS DENZEL, Kyiv Lights Festival (Ucraina) – câștigător FABIO VOLPI (a.k.a. Dies_), 1minute projection mapping competition (Japonia) – câștigător Li Cheng, Zsolnay Light Festival (Ungaria) – câștigător Ricardo Silveira Cançado. Celor cinci echipe li se va alătura în competiție câștigătorul Premiului Juriului din cadrul ediției iMapp Bucharest 2019 – Michele Pusceddu.
În deschiderea evenimentului, pe scena iMapp Bucharest va concerta trupa SUBCARPAȚI, cea mai mare grupare muzicală independentă din România, care s-a născut în anul 2010, la inițitiva lui Bean MC, fiind compusă dintr-un grup de prieteni mânați de pasiunea pentru muzică și folclor. Din 2009 până în prezent, formația Subcarpați a lansat 7 materiale discografice prin care a cucerit inimi, reinterpretând folclorul în manieră proprie și aducând în prim-plan ideea că este important să ne conectăm la originile noastre.

În conformitate cu legislația în vigoare, accesul la evenimentul iMapp Bucharest este permis persoanelor vaccinate împotriva virusului SARS-CoV-2 și pentru care au trecut 10 zile de la finalizarea schemei complete de vaccinare, persoanelor care prezintă rezultatul negativ al unui test RT-PCR pentru infecția cu virusul SARS-CoV-2 nu mai vechi de 72 de ore sau rezultatul negativ certificat al unui test antigen rapid nu mai vechi de 24 de ore, respectiv persoanelor care se află în perioada cuprinsă între a 15-a zi și a 180-a zi ulterioară confirmării infectării cu SARS-CoV-2.

Video mapping shows and SUBCARPAȚI concert at iMapp Bucharest 2021
The biggest new media art event in Romania and in top 3 international video mapping competitions, IMAPP BUCHAREST – WINNERS LEAGUE, organized by Bucharest City Hall, through CREART, with the support of the Chamber of Deputies, takes place on Saturday, September 18th, 2021, in Constitution Square, Bucharest, Romania. Admission is free and the access is from 5 PM.
The artistic works of the participating teams will be displayed on the largest projection surface in the world – the facade of the Palace of of Parliament (23,000 square meters), and tens of thousands of hearts will vibrate in unison on an electrifying evening, at the intersection of technology and music!
The 7th edition of the event, winner of the “AV IN ACTION” category at the AV AWARDS in London 2020, celebrates the way people gradually resume their lives, the theme of the video mapping contest – “THE SHOW MUST GO ON” – presenting domains of impact in contemporary society (art, music, sports, education and tourism), that have the ability to reinvent themselves and ensure the effervescence and dynamism of a life that we have all missed so much.
Through a partnership with five of the most important international video mapping festivals in the world, iMapp Bucharest will bring together, in the Capital of Romania, the best video mapping artists, winners of the partner events, who will reinterpret the façade of the Palace of Parliament through works of art that use light, technology and music to render one’s own vision of the theme: Borealis – a festival of light (U.S.A.) – winner FLIGHTGRAF, Genius Loci Weimar (Germany) – winner JONAS DENZEL, Kyiv Lights Festival (Ukraine) – winner FABIO VOLPI (a.k.a. Dies_), 1minute projection mapping competition (Japan) – winner Li Cheng, Zsolnay Light Festival (Hungary) – winner Ricardo Silveira Cançado. The five teams will be joined in the competition by the Jury Award winner of iMapp Bucharest 2019 edition – Michele Pusceddu.
In the opening of the event, on the iMapp Bucharest stage will perform the band SUBCARPAȚI, the largest independent music group in Romania, which was born in 2010, at the initiative of Bean MC, being composed of a group of friends driven by passion for music and folklore. From 2009 until now, the band Subcarpați has released 7 discographic materials through which they won hearts, reinterpreting folklore in their own way and bringing to the fore the idea that it is important to connect to our origins.

In accordance with the legislation in force, the access to iMapp Bucharest is allowed to people vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2 virus and for whom 10 days have passed since the completion of the complete vaccination schedule, to people who show the negative result of an RT-PCR test for SARS-CoV-2 not older than 72 hours or the certified negative result of a rapid antigen test not older than 24 hours, respectively to people that are in the period between the 15th and 180th day subsequent to confirmation of the SARS-CoV-2 infection.
