Starting from the classical Unplugged, „Acustic” comprises the best songs performed by Vita de Vie, gathered along their 21 years of existence and reorchestrated in an unusual manner, leading to classic style, jazz or bossanova.
Adrian Despot on the „Acustic” project: „I stripped off the clothes of some old songs and I tried to draw off a shape closer to their original state, the state of emotion. I turned down the volume and I raised the intensity. From there, I built up the „Acustic” album with care and dedication. It came out exactly the way we wanted to be, simple and intense. In our journey we had the honour to be accompanied by some extraordinary musicians. Mandela Ganjol and Mihai Ardelean.”
Wo could ever imagine that „Basul si cu toba mare” can „stand on its feet” and could sound so nice in a Swing version? Or that the well-known parody „Vinolamine” is to be reinvented now in such an unusual version? And wo would have thought the song called „Varza” could create such a different sensation while listening?
After the 2016 autumn launch of their new album „Sase” (+) („Six” +), the acoustic repertoire of Vita de Vie has become richer with new songs, already known to their fans: Luna și Noi, Pe Plaja În Vamă la 5, Metaforă de Toamnă.
