Every Thursday, between 11th of February and 28th of April 2016, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m., creart Centre for Creation, Art and Tradition, organizes Module One – Photography Workshop “Dialogue with the Visible”, by the photographer Aurel Virlan.

The photography workshop with Aurel Virlan represents a creart project, helping those artists who want to capture pictures that are technically correct, with a right picture frame and exposure. The learning modules combines various themes for each photo fan, beginning with the first steps in taking photos up to portrait or fashion photo.

The practical and theoretical courses are destined to both adults and young adults and they will be held inside a specially arranged place at the headquarters at French Quarter, District 1, in Bucharest. The basic rules of the photography technique will be presented during the first course of our workshop, while the weekly themes and exercises will imprint all the notions related to composition, light and perspective.

Module One – Photography Workshop consists of the following themes:

  • Compositional elements of a frame (line, surface, light) and the relation among all those elements;
  • The right exposure and intentional exposure (High-Key and Low-Key);
  • The geometrical and aerial perspective;
  • The priming illumination as an element meant to create the third dimension in photography

Students shall need a DSLR with wide-angle-lens, telephoto lens and a fixed prime-lens during Module 1 of the Photography Workshop in order to apply the new photo techniques.

The price for Module 1- Photography is 300 Lei and the sum may be paid to the creart service desk – No 7, Alexandru Lahovari Square.
